A Tremendous Tuesday Prayer!

Oh Glory! Today will be a Tremendous Tuesday, and you Father are King of all the earth. We sing your praises with all our lack of ability and whatever skill we can muster. You reign over the nations and sit upon Your Holy Throne!

Come and walk with us, Lord. We want to bask in your presence all day, but we recognize that our time is limited. We have places to go, people to meet and things to do, but right now, none of that is going to distract us from You!

We fully expect that when You come, You will not be silent.
As the Psalmist says, a fire burns and consumes in front of You, and a powerful storm surrounds You. Just thinking of you amazes us and overwhelms our fleshly weaknesses. But here we are standing proudly declaring that YOU Lord are our King, our Joy, our Delight and most of all, our Father! Thank You for that privilege and honor!

There are fools around us who continue to say, “There is no God.” But that is their loss. We have found how sweet You are and it has caused us to crave even more of You!

Your eyes are upon the righteous, and Your ears are open to their cry. Your face is against those who do evil, to root out the memory of them from the earth. Your righteous cry out, and You hear them and deliver them from ALL of their troubles.

You are near to the brokenhearted and will save those whose spirits are crushed. We know all kinds of people — friends, coworkers and family — who are overwhelmed with life. Please deliver them out of ALL of their woes.

Father, have mercy on us. Christ, have mercy on us. Spirit, have mercy on us.

Lord, Your glory is to always have mercy: Be gracious to everyone who has gone astray from your ways. Bring us again with penitent hearts and steadfast faith to embrace and hold fast to the unchangeable truth of your Word, Jesus Christ your Son; who with you and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
