Closing Out Another Satisfying Saturday

Hallelujah! Father, our day is fading away and we thank you for your presence today. We praise You in Your holy house of worship; under the open skies; for Your mighty acts of power, for You magnificent greatness!

We praise You with a blast on the trumpet, and by strumming soft strings. We praise You with castanets and dance, with banjo and flute; with cymbals and a big bass drum.

We praise You with fiddles and mandolin. We call every living, breathing creature to praise our God! Hallelujah!

Father, you are our God and we eagerly seek you; our souls thirst for you, and our flesh faints for you. As in a barren and dry land where there is no water, we look to You for provision. We have gazed on you in your holy place, and we beheld Your power and your glory.

You are our light and our salvation, so we have nothing to fear. You are the strength of our lives and we can rest peacefully. And for many of us, today was a day of worship and even tonight we do indeed worship you. We thank you for being there every moment and we were able to see your hand at work in the lives of our children and the rest of our family. We are so grateful that, in every situation, we were able to look to you for help, for guidance and for comfort.

We set aside every care and concern as we go to sleep. Please encamp your angels around us. Watch over our thoughts, dreams and imaginations. And for those who must work tonight, give them the Grace they may need. Protect our police officers and emergency technicians. And keep firemen that must work overnight safe and that you would have mercy on those who may need help from any of those emergency help.

Tomorrow we will wake up refreshed and renewed in body, mind, and spirit as we again gather we our brother and sisters and we ask that your Spirit will help us maintain a focus on our need for YOU. All and all, we thank you and wish you a good night, as well. Thank you Father, and Amen! ~Nickolas Hiemstra who is prepared to close out the day, but will first dedicate his heart to his King!
