Hallelujah! Father it is another Super Sunday Morning, a day we gather with our family to worship and adore you. We give thanks to You with everything we have, wherever we gather.
Your works are so great, worth a lifetime of study and enjoyment — endless enjoyment! Splendor and beauty mark your craft; Your generosity never gives out. Your miracles are Your memorial! Your are the God of Grace and Love. You gave food to those who fear You; You remember to keep Your ancient promises. You continue to prove to Your people that You could do what You have said:
Hand them the nations on a platter as a gift! You manufacture truth and justice; All of Your products are guaranteed to last — and are never out-of-date, and never obsolete.
Everything You make and do is honest and true: You paid the ransom for Your people, You ordered that Your Covenant be kept forever. You are so personal and holy, and so worthy of our respect.
In fact, a good life begins in the fear of You — if we just do that and we will know that Your Blessings endure forever. Your Hallelujah lasts forever!
Let them know that You, whose Name is Yahweh, You alone are the Most High over all the earth. Blessed be the Lord GOD, the God of Israel, who alone does wondrous deeds! And blessed be Your glorious Name for ever! and may all the earth be filled with Your glory. Amen. Amen. (Psalm 72:18-19)
The same stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone!
In You, Father, we have taken refuge; and we will never be ashamed of that. In Your righteousness, deliver us and set us free from a spirit of independence and self-reliance; Be our strong rock, a castle we can run to so we can be kept safe. You are our crag and our stronghold! Deliver us, Lord. Deliver us from the hand of the wicked, from the clutches of anyone or anything that will oppress us. Because You are our hope, O Lord GOD, our confidence ever since we met You. You have sustained us by each day of our lives; You have been our strength; our praise shall be always of you.
Our Father in heaven, reveal who you are. Set the world right; do what is best— as above, so below. Keep us alive with three square meals. Keep us forgiven with you as we forgive others.
Keep us safe from ourselves and the Devil. You are in charge! You can do anything You want! You are ablaze in beauty! Amen! ~Nickolas Hiemstra, who wants to serve and honor his King along with all of the other fellow believers.
