Oh what a Wonderful Wednesday it is, our Lord, nd we choose to worship and thank you for it. This is another day you have given us and we will rejoice and be glad in it! We will listen to what you, our LORD God, are saying because you are speaking peace to those who are faithful and to those who turn their hearts to you. Truly! Your salvation is very near to those who fear you, that your glory will dwell in our land.
Send out your light and your truth, this morning so they will lead us and bring us to your Holy Mountain and to the place you dwel; we will go to the altar of our God, to the God of our joy and gladness; and with the harp we will give thanks to you, O Yahweh our Elohim!
Our desire is to let all peoples know that you, whose Name is Yahweh, you alone are the Most High over all the earth. The people who once walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who have lived in a land of shadow dark as death, has see your light blazed forth in their life!
There was a time when we longed to find the way to peace! But in fact it is hidden from our eyes! But your light shone in the darkness of our lives and brought with it a glorious peace that mere words cannot describe. Those of us who walked in darkness have now seen a great light, and our hearts are filled with such joy.
The earth is the yours and everything that is in it, the world and everyone who dwell in it. For it is you who founded it upon the seas and made it firm upon the rivers of the deep. Your Psalmist cried out, “Who can ascend the hill of the LORD? and who can stand in his holy place?” And he gave us the answer by proclaiming that it was “Those who have clean hands and pure hearts, who have not pledged themselves to lies, nor sworn by what is a fraud. They will receive a blessing from you, LORD and a just reward from your, the God of their salvation. Such is the generation of those who seek you, of those who seek your face, O God of Jacob.
Gracious Father, whose blessed Son Jesus Christ came down from heaven to be the true bread which gives life to the world: give me this bread, that he may live in us, and we in him; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
Lord God, almighty and everlasting Father, you have brought us in safety to this new day: Preserve us with your mighty power, that we will not fall into sin, nor be overcome by adversity; and in everthing we set our hearts to do, direct us to the fulfilling of your purpose; through Jesus Christ my Lord. Amen. ~Nickolas Hiemstra, MFMI eMinistry Affiliate Minister
