Father, we rejoice today for this Fabulous Friday. We proclaim your goodness and your Glory. We will sing about your glorious name and honor you with our praises. When we pray, you always listen and show your Mercy.
We do love you and understand that each breath we take is a gift you have given us. We thank you for guiding us and comforting us with your peace which goes beyond anything we can imagine and even attempt to describe. You are so awesome, and your love is so overwhelming that we are forced to stand bewildered and humbled.
You are indeed our best friend! You sing over us daily. You rejoice over us with gladness, and frankly, we are amazed. We recognize that in ourselves, we are not worthy of Your affections, but for some reason, you have given your Son as your redeemer and to purchase our salvation.
We commit our day to You and ask that Your Spirit would continue to guide and direct our steps and direct us to impact those around us for good and to encourage those who need a brighter attitude. If any of us are weak and disheartened, then change us! Holy Spirit, we ask that you would open the eyes of our understanding so we can know You, Your will, Your ways.
We thank You for your Word that is changing the way we interact with our family and friends. Penetrate our hearts by the power of Your Holy Spirit. We will yield to Your will and ways. And nothing will dissuade from our service to you and to your people. In fact, we will meet with other brothers and sisters today to worship you. And you are so worth the praises and worship will offer.
Today, order our steps for this is the day that You have made, we will rejoice and be glad in it!
